Description

Dunland

The Hebog-lûth (Falcon Clan) are a clan of Dunlendings. They worship the Falcon Spirit of Gwenaewen. They are led by Headman Lheu Brenin, and their main Village is at Tûr Morva.

When first met they are resisting the words of Saruman, even encouraging other clans to resist[1], and although there is some turbulence within the clan, Saruman's envoy was locked up[2]. The Grey Company agrees help the clan prepared for battle against Saruman, although their aims do not fully align[2]. At the end of first period of involvement, it appears that Lheu Brenin may be succumbing to the words of the envoy[3]

Later they became aligned with Saruman. This puts them at odds with the Uch-lûth and the Grey Company.

Rohan

The Hebog-lûth are later found in the Stonedeans, involved on the White Hand attacks on Brockbridge and possibly Woodhurst.

Face Paint and clan identifiers

The Hebog-lûth tend to wear red face paint, the most common design being three vertical red stripes over each cheek for males, representing the claws of a falcon, and diagonal claw slashes for females. Some clothing and armour have a falcon claw, and banners display a pair of claws. The favoured clothing colour is red, brighter than the Dragon clan's red.
