We also encourage you to take a moment and edit your user page (click the User Page tab above): Just a couple of lines to tell us about yourself and your interests. New NPC Pages

Hi, and thanks for the new page about Mardil. I just wanted to explain why I moved (renamed) the Mardil pages. First, see Help:Names#Page Naming. And then my background to the page moves: Very often I find "same-name pages" of various kinds and unfortunately links to those are not what the editors meant them to be. Most likely an editor is happy to see a link that "works", the link is not red in preview mode, but they do not actually check up where the link goes. And usually it goes to the smallest common denominator. In this case it means, if a somewhat sloppy editor want a link for Mardil the boss and [[Mardil]] "works", yeah, that's it. But wrong, right? Being goaded to (meaning "forced to" ;-) ) find the correct page name means a correct link. Now editors must use the specifier and that helps them to be correct. Just wanted to let you know, you did nothing wrong. Though the next time you will do even better :-D — Zimoon 17:54, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
