Bio

Caedwin was born to humble farmers of Bree-land, living a simple life tending to crops, livestock, and making trips with his father to market to sell their goods. As he entered his 20s, he began making the trips alone under his father's trust. During one of these trips, he came into contact with a member of the Blackwolds, a band of brigands operating in and around Bree. This roguish individual noticed that Caedwin had a specifically nimbleness about him, and offered him an opportunity to make far more than he ever would selling vegetables and wheat: thievery.

From here on, Caedwin would continue his trips to the various settlements of Bree-land, selling his family's goods at market, but also burglarizing homes and shops marked by the Blackwolds. Caedwin stashed the coinage earned from his efforts in his bedroom on his farm in order to not alert his mother or father to his side business. This proved to be an incredibly lucrative venture that Caedwin would continue throughout his early 20s amassing a sizeable nest egg for his family. Shortly upon entering his 25th year, he would be brought news by the Blackwolds of their plan to assault the town of Archet with the aid of a new ally. This deeply troubled Caedwin as he had been adamant about not harming any of the occupants of the dwellings he burglarized. When ordered to partake in the raid, Caedwin refused, and threatened to bring news of their plans to the townsfolk of Archet.

Caedwin, left the Blackwolds' hideout, naively believing he had earned that courtesy due to his work of the years for the brigands. Upon returning home, he would be met with the ghastly sight of his parents slain and his family's farmstead in flames, the money he had amassed along with it. Utterly distraught and distracted, Caedwin failed to notice as he was crept up on and knocked out by the attackers who raided the farm. He would awaken as a prisoner in one of their camps, yet upon opening his eyes, a strange hooded man stood before him. Clearly not of the Blackwolds, the man ushered Caedwin out of his cell to escape...
