Thostír the Rank is a fire dragon, one of the famed “Ring-drakes”, having consumed the dwarven ring Tulcya. Thostír was captured by the Weeping Warrior and thrown into The Abyss of Mordath, imprisoned within Glúrghash, the Pit of Flame. He escaped when Sauron fell, and his prison was rent asunder.
