The Creeping Wood is a repeatable public quest instance within the Sutcrofts, in East Rohan.

The Creeping Wood is cave complex where some of the few large spiders in East Rohan live. The Rohirrim send there young warriors to test themselves against the spiders, but something has changed recently.

Location

The location can only be reached by quests granted by Waldeg in Snowbourn, and only after the prerequisite quest Aiding the Eastemnet has been started.

Lore

'Spiders are rare within the bounds of these lands, being found only within a small area of southern East Wall. Their venom is potent but not deadly so we send young warriors in to test their skills and see if they can triumph over their fears. Recently, our trials have stopped coming back from The Creeping Wood. The spreading darkness has empowered the vermin within the tunnels and I fear our young warriors may have been trapped within ever-tightening webs.
