Bestowal Dialogue

The Great Alliance of Elves and Men stood in defiance of Sauron for long years of siege, but even their bravest heroes came to fear his deadliest servants. These were the Nazgûl, and their number was Nine. They stalked the battlefield of Mordor Besieged, and were its most dangerous scourges.

In later days, the Black Blade of Lebennin was oft-seen stalking among the hills and forests of Western Gondor, striking fear into the hearts of Men with both deadly countenance and fearsome sword. For those few who did not flee, his words poured like honey into their unwilling ears and drove them to terrible acts of evil. This may have proved his worst and most effective weapon.

Background

The Great Alliance of Elves and Men stood in defiance of Sauron for long years of siege, but even their greatest heroes came to fear his deadliest servants. These were the Nazgûl, and their number was Nine.

Objective 1

  • Defeat the Black Blade of Lebennin in Mordor Besieged

In later days, the Black Blade of Lebennin was oft-seen stalking among the hills and forests of Western Gondor, striking fear into the hearts of Men with both deadly countenance and fearsome sword. For those few who did not flee, his words poured like honey into their unwilling ears and drove them to terrible acts of evil. This may have proved his worst and most effective weapon.

The Black Blade of Lebennin says, "The darkness shall crush you!"
The Black Blade of Lebennin says, "Your fears betray you, <name>."
The Black Blade of Lebennin has been defeated... for now

Objective 2

  • The Black Blade of Lebennin, defeated but enduring

In later days, the Black Blade of Lebennin was oft-seen stalking among the hills and forests of Western Gondor, striking fear into the hearts of Men with both deadly countenance and fearsome sword. For those few who did not flee, his words poured like honey into their unwilling ears and drove them to terrible acts of evil. This may have proved his worst and most effective weapon.

The Black Blade of Lebennin suffered defeat on the battlefield of Mordor Besieged, but it was not to be a lasting death... not while Sauron endured. The Nazgûl would return, for his was an existence beyond ending.
