Bestowal Dialogue

Your journey has been long, and the sight of your family is welcome after so long on the road. Your kinfolk among the Beornings are eager to see you and hear of your adventures. Greet them warmly and with the customary bear-hug of your people.

You will need to do much within the Vales in order to encounter all your relatives.

Background

Home is where you find your family, and while your adventures bring you often away, you should take every opportunity to show them you care.

Objective 1

  • Return to the Beorninghús to greet your family members

Your extended family can be found throughout the Vales of Anduin, but the Beorninghús will be a good place to begin.

Objective 2

Your family can be found throughout the Vales of Anduin

You should greet your family members with a hug whenever you find them among the Vales

Possible responses:

"I missed having you around!"
"It has been too long!"
"It is good to see you!"
"Welcome home!"
"Not now." -- Hárskor in Hadhodiant. This will not count for the quest.

Objective 3

  • Enter Beorn's cave at the base of the Carrock

Beorn's cave can be found at the base of the Carrock in the Beorning-lands.

You should enter Beorn's cave, a site for remembering members of your family that no longer walk or roam among the Vales.

Beorn's cave reminds you of family members that no longer roam the Vales

Objective 4

  • Sit in Beorn's cave and think of family members that have gone

Beorn's cave can be found at the base of the Carrock in the Beorning-lands.

Inside the cave, you should sit for a moment in quiet contemplation.

You thank Beorn and those of your family who have passed

Objective 5

  • Completed

You gave a thought to your family, and now that your heart and mind are at ease, you feel ready to continue your adventures.

It is good to be home. Now that your heart and mind are at ease, you feel ready to continue your adventures, though your journeys bring you far away.
