Bestowal Dialogue 'You! You can help, yes you can! 'My search for this cursed child has ended! They are here to bring eternal ruin to Anfalas! The prosperity of the Langstrand is in your hands! 'Every single huntsman I have sent to end this imminent doom upon us has not returned, but I see you! You look very capable...' You look at the stranger with elevated skepticism. 'Please, time is of the essence! The trail ends here, among the bluffs of Anfalas to the south-west!' Background Gerech the Addled wishes for you to find a cursed child that roams Langstrand. Objective 1 Find the cursed child Gerech the Addled has asked you to help with a cursed child who seems to be a sign for imminent doom to Anfalas. The cursed child can be found in the bluffs to the south-west. A woman is being threatened by a huntsman! The Huntsman says, "What do you want? This is my quarry!" The Huntsman says, "I have been tracking this girl for many moons! Nothing you say can convince me to abandon course!" The Huntsman says, "I shall claim the bounty!" Objective 2 Scare the huntsman away The Huntsman refuses to give up the cursed child. You should intimidate them and scare them away. The Huntsman says, "The bounty is not worth the effort!" Objective 3 Talk to Endela The Huntsman has been scared away. You should reason with the cursed child. Endela: 'Please don't hurt me!' The woman recoils at your approach. But you raise your hands in surrender. 'A cursed child you say? I'm no child. But I have been running from hunters all my life. 'I was told the circumstances of my birth were extraordinary by Gerech. When my mother passed, he took me in, but I was treated poorly, and subjected to horrible experiments for his own esoteric pursuits of knowledge. 'Apparently my existence is akin to a curse upon Anfalas. When I grew older, I managed to escape and have been on the run since. 'I don't know whether I am cursed or not, but I'm done running. Would you help me gain my freedom?' Objective 4 Confront Gerech the Addled Endela has revealed to you the terrible treatment she suffered. You should confront Gerech. Gerech the Addled can be found in Barad Faen. Gerech the Addled: 'You return to me empty handed. I placed all my faith in you to prevent the doom of Anfalas!' You inform Gerech that the woman must go free. 'Never! You have no idea what you have done! You will be the doom of us all!' Gerech the Addled says, "You doom us all!" You had no choice but to stop Gerech the Addled Objective 5 Talk to Endela Gerech forced your hand and has been defeated. You should tell Endela she is free. Endela can be found in the bluffs to the south-west. Endela: 'I cannot thank you enough for what you have done. This is the start of something new. 'I have not been able to live peacefully without a shadow looming over me for quite some time. 'I am in your debt, good stranger.' Endela says, "Farewell, strange traveller! Thank you!"
