North Undeep

The North Undeep is the stretch of fordable waters of the Anduin between the Brown Lands and the Rushgore.

The North Undeep is a crossing of the Anduin that has been repeatedly used by Easterlings to gain access to the lands of Gondor, and later, Rohan. This is where the Balchoth clan crossed when they all but wiped out the population of the realm of Calenardhon. During the War of the Ring, the Easterlings are back.
