Lothíriel is the young (20 year old) daughter of Lord Imrahil, the Prince of Dol Amroth, and Círaglar.

When Imrahil answered the call of Gondor and rode to Minas Tirith, he left Lothíriel in charge of the city and the surrounding lands.

After the War of the Ring, Lothíriel marries King Éomer of Rohan.
