Description
Galion is the Chamberlain for King Thranduil and is standing and the base of the stairs to the throne in Felegoth in Eryn Lasgalen and the Dale-lands.
It was Galion the butler who was in charge of shipping barrels of goods through the underground Forest River down to Lake-town in T.A. 2941, when Thorin and Company were imprisoned by King Thranduil for trespassing. Falling asleep with the Chief-guard in the cellar after becoming drunk on heavy wine from Dorwinion, Galion was unable to stop Bilbo Baggins and the dwarves from making their escape by hiding in several barrels going down the river, which were sent on to Long Lake.
