Description

Cirith Caradhras, the Redhorn Pass, is a narrow and dangerous road that winds its way through the Misty Mountains beneath the mountains of Caradhras and Celebdil, allowing passage from Eregion in Eriador to the Dimrill Dale and beyond, in Rhovanion, where it descends beside the Dimrill Stair falls that feed the Mirrormere. ^{[10.0S, 79.4W]} Fierce winds and storms often pervade these treacherous peaks, and it also serves as paths for various dangerous creatures. While this main stretch of the Redhorn Pass is often inaccessible to regular travel, it can be traversed in one particular mission (see below).
