King Orodreth of Nargothrond was a Noldor Elf of the First Age. Orodreth was the son of Angrod and thus nephew of Galadriel, Aegnor and Finrod Felagund. He was also the father of Gil-galad, who became High King of the Noldor after the death of Angrod's cousin, High King Turgon.
Orodreth was killed in the Battle of Tumhalad, and his kingdom of Nargothrond fell soon after.
