About Me

I am currently living in Southern Oregon although I am from many different places. I was born and raised in Southern California and moved all around the San Diego County area, I also lived in Southern Iowa for about 4 years before my mother and I both said no more, and Oregon seemed a compromise. Travelling did give me unique experiences.

I started gaming when Atari 2600 was new, traded that in for an NES, then SNES, then... then I grew out of consoles until I met my ex-husband and enter PS1 and eventually PS2. Also thanks to my ex I was introduced into the world of computer gaming and pencil and paper role-playing. I started off with Baldur's Gate 1, then 2, then Icewind Dale 1, then 2 and then... Neverwinter Nights! NWN1 took up most of my time as far as gaming goes, it was an awesome game and the multiplayer community has made that game legend! There was a time after NWN1 was old that I switched over to Guild Wars (my first official mmo) and slowly stopped playing NWN. Guild Wars is/was a fun game until it got compentitive and focused mostly on the pvp portion, and on top of that the RPG side got very repetitive and BORING. It's ok and I still play from time to time with Guildmates but I found LOTRO to be much more evolved and engrossing! Plus I LOVE crafting.

From a more professional standpoint I have an Associates degree in General Studies (emphasis on Computer Science) and a Bachelor's degree in English:Creative Writing with a Minor in Business Administration. Funny story is with my Associates I had a bad councellor who did not offer me any advice or direction with my studies (hence General Studies) and with my BA, well I could have gotten a Bachelor of Science because I had the math and science reqs down! NOW that would be hilarious.. can you imagine.. I have a Bachelor of SCIENCE in ENGLISH: Creative Writing... LOL. If I was smart I would have Majored in Business and Minored in English but hey LIFE is a journey and you learn on the way.. Go figure. As for work, I work at the local community college as a Computer Lab Tutor for the schools Computer Labs. So which degree was more useful? Haha, just kidding, I use English a lot so I guess that helps! Plus, I would like to publish and that was the main reason for my degree anyway.
