Bio
Balian was born in Minas Tirith (T.A. 2990), and is of elven ancestry in his father's side, making him a Half-Elf. Balian was raised by his mother in Minas Tirith, and he later joined the barracks there and trained to become a great soldier of Gondor. He never saw his father or knew anything about him other than being an elf, his mother seemed reluctant to say anything. By the age of 20 he was sent to reinforce the city of Dol Amroth after increasing activities of pirate raids in the surrounding city. He stayed there for around 8-9 years. He was later enlisted to aid the Rangers in Eriador to help reduce the eminent threat of Angmar.
He has a son, named Amahir, whom he met in the town of Bree.
