The Elders

The Elders are a relaxed, mature Kinship. We have a minumum age for membership (25 years) and no maximum!! Our attitude is that 'real life' usually has to come first, especially for people with families and demanding jobs. The majority of our members are in their thirties and forties. Some are younger - many are older.

The kinship currently has around 100 members, most of whom have one or two alts (some more!). We are active at pretty much all levels of the game. We are a casual kin, not a raiding kin; however raids run most weeks and nowadays we routinely expect to take down the Balrog.

Originally founded by Catara, Cara replaced him as leader in August 2007 and has seen the kinship grow from strength to strength. We are one of the oldest Kinships on Gilrain, currently at maximum rank. We have our own kinship house in Whitwich in The Shire. In real life, we have a good spread of members from across Europe, mostly the UK, Scandinavia, Holland & Denmark.
