Ok this still needs some major work.. but lets discuss what I have. I don't like the bullets and I think this needs at least one graphic or a background image. Should we color the headings? If so same for all, different for each? --Hinney 00:20, 23 March 2007 (PDT)
At first glance, it's not bad. The colored headers work for me, at least for a transitional front page. Sure it can, and likely will, be improved but it's not bad. I'll need time to give more constructive feedback but one thing I notice is the "Help us Edit" link which might be more obvious as "How to Contribute" or something similar. Many visitors don't know what a wiki is so using the most plain or obvious language there will help more people be able to contribute. Maybe I'm wrong and "Edit" is obvious too. :D --Hellis 02:13, 23 March 2007 (PDT)
Agreed - Looks good; and "How to Contribute" sounds better. Bullet points look fine to me but you could alway br instead. On layout I'd perhaps go for:
Game guide / Character / World
Quests / Game play / Crafting
Monster play / Social / Other
as the order, trying to balance the stuff new players will want to see first with the most useful!, but that's maybe putting MP too low down. DancesInTrees 02:21, 23 March 2007 (PDT)
It looks very nice, but I'd probably move Instances from World to Quests. The colored headlines look good and I agree that some images and a background would be nice. - I like the new layout also, but would like to remind about lore section =) we should probably resolve the issue with it (as in: "to be or not to be") and the best place would probably be Talk:Lore... --Xander 05:09, 23 March 2007 (PDT)
- I did a few minor tweaks, note the major change of quests title to lore, any more thoughts on the ordering? I would like to keep character and monster play side by side, either horizontally or vertically.
