Talk:Emote

Taken from Skeeve's comments on the command list page.

Don't know the proper headers to put in the page.

  • Added this page as an inclusion on the Commands page. If you edit the Emotes subsection on the Commands page you can see the code I used to include another page. :D
Do we think maybe this should be named "Emotes" and note "Emote" ? Hamma 09:57, 3 April 2007 (PDT)

What comments of mine are you referring to? --Skeeve 11:17, 3 April 2007 (PDT)

I just cut and pasted the list of emotes from the Commands page. Wanted to give credit where it was due. I didn't type that monster out.

I don't know Wiki's well enough to have a strong feeling on singular vs plural. I know from a user standpoint I tend to google emotes for a game (and not emote).

Is there a command to auto insert the timestamp?

  • you mean something like secondlast button above editing field? the one that looks like signature? --Xander 11:29, 3 April 2007 (PDT)
    • That would be the one. Even hovered over it. Too used to forums where that is like a race/class/guild thing for sigunatuers.

You don't really have to give credit for articles within the wiki. Only if you took something from another place, like the forums. All the pages within the wiki have a history, so usually you can see who did what.

To easily sign and date something, you type ~~~~. That will create your username and timestamp when you save (or preview the page). --Skeeve 11:33, 3 April 2007 (PDT)
