If changes are made to the main section of this page please update the copy at Template:Infobox Quests/Preload. Ty DancesInTrees 09:15, 9 June 2008 (PDT)

With all the new changes I noticed that |- Region was taken out.. Sometimes the starting/ending area and region are different.. example: Duillond, Ered Luin. Not sure why that was taken out. I have to say, last night was an interesting experience when I was updating or creating new quests and each time I went to copy the code it was different because at the same time SwordMage was editing! Starting and ending region are still there. He just removed "region" because that used to be for the region that the quest mostly takes place in. Instead, the region (by which the quest will be categorized) should now be categorized with starting region instead. --Fedaykin 10:34, 18 August 2008 (PDT)
The intent is that questgroup is whatever the grouping label is in the quest log tree. So there should be no real choice about it any more (leaving out the "Epic - " prefix). This gets rid of some of the funnies like "Vector". --SwordMage 12:56, 18 August 2008 (PDT)
Not sure I qualify to comment any more as I've pretty much stopped editing. Anyway - I deliberately didn't categorise on Region1 so that quests that don't have a specific region aren't forced into one, as happened with the old Quest Banner. Generally I was thinking crafting & class quests, specifically the "make someone a new ring" or the lvl 50 quests which do have a single starter, but that person's region is irrelevant to the quest. I agree with that decision about region1. What I have done is change the name and semantics of the Main Region (region) field to questgroup, which is the label in the quest log tree. This covers things like crafting, class, festival, and epic quests (prologue, introduction, book #) and removes any real choice. My comment about the default had to do with the transition time when there are pages with the region parm still set. --SwordMage 02:02, 19 August 2008 (PDT)
