You have attained a level of skill that few jewellers hope to reach, [name]. The pieces you create are things of beauty, but remember the hold such things can have on those who desire them.
The brilliant Elf-jeweller Merilos wishes to speak with you, as she speaks with all jewellers who reach such dizzying heights. What she says to them, none will say, but if you desire to master your art you must go to her. She awaits you in Rivendell, by the Spire of Meeting west of the House of Elrond.

Your fingers are nimble and your eyes precise, allowing you to create stunning pieces that astound those who have not reached the same level of mastery.
Objective 1
The master jeweller Merilos is in Rivendell, by the Spire of Meeting west of the House of Elrond.
You have been told that Merilos asks to speak with all jewellers who attain your level of skill.
- Talk to Merilos, a Master Jeweler, found at the Spire of Meeting in Rivendell (29.8S, 4.8W) who will get you started on the quest.<br.
- When you talk to Merilos he will give you a note on the quest requirements as well as a recipe to craft the item he desires you to make.
- The Note Reads:
- I have set down these notes so I may test not only your skill, but also your wisdom. There is more to the making of jewellery than the mere fashioning of the piece. If you are able to internalize this truth, I will be satisfied and recognize you to be a master-jeweller. If not, you will become as have many before you: disappointing.
- PLATINUM INGOTS
- You will need the services of an artisan prospector if you are to fashion the band. Three platinum ingots will be sufficient.
- GONDORIAN SAPPHIRE
- I learned from a visitor to Imladris that some of his people had planned an excursion into Angmar in search of treasure. The leader of this expedition possessed a sapphire of great beauty, and those who followed him did so with the expectation of receiving similar treasures. They never returned from Ram Dúath, and the leader's sapphire is likely now in the possession of an Orc. Retrieve the gem from its new owner and use it as the basis for the memorium ring.
- When you have fashioned the memorium ring, I will judge both its quality and yours.
Objective 2
Merilos gave you the recipe for a memorium ring and her notes on its fashioning.
Merilos, a rather intimidating jeweller in Rivendell, has asked you to craft a memorium ring that she can examine to determine your worth as a jeweller.
- Collect 3 Platinum Ingots.
- Collect the Gondorian Sapphire.
- Go to a Superior Workbench and craft the Memorium Ring.
Objective 3
Merilos is in Rivendell, by the Spire of Meeting west of the House of Elrond.
Master-jeweller Merilos asked you to fashion a memorium ring to prove your understanding of the craft, and most likely, to teach you a lesson of some sort.
- Return to Merilos in Rivendell with the Memorium Ring.
