'Now that you are prepared for whatever lies ahead, I have another task for you. One of Elrond's sons, Elladan, went down to the Silver Deep, as the Dwarves call it, to see if the halls of Edhelion remain undisturbed. Go now and speak with him.
'The entrance to the Silver Deep can be found by following this mountain path to the west. Once the path branches, take the northern path.'
Background
One of the sons of Elrond, Elladan, scouted ahead to see if anyone entered the ruined halls of Edhelion.
Objective 1
Elladan can be found near the entrance to the Silver Deep, west of the ruins of Edhelion. It is reached by travelling down the mountain path, then north to the mine's entrance.
Elladan is investigating the Silver Deep mines for signs of danger.
- 'Goblins! Goblins here in the halls of Edhelion! I slew a goodly number and drove the rest off. I must keep watch that the goblins do not return, yet I must know what they sought within Edhelion's ruined halls. Will you help me learn this?'
