The Chicken Play portion of this quest is probably the most involved out of all of them. I say this simply because there are several animals you must find in order to succeed.

Never risk being defeated, you will have to restart! Be patient and wait for the right opportunity if your path is blocked by hostile mobs. Make good use of your Fowl Fleetness and Possum Impersonation abilities. Don't rely on Bob and Weave unless the other two harm avoidance abilities are on cooldown, as the level difference between a chicken and most mobs means you will probably still get hit. Fowl Fleetness is a good way to speed up travel whilst in between areas and traveling on roads (or swimming), it's however best to save it to avoid harm if you are in an area where you run the risk of being defeated.

• First head to Bree-land then head straight south to the Cow located at ^{[31.9S, 62.4W]}.

• Go back North to the road and head East to Bree. Once in Bree find the Scholar's Stair^{[29.6S, 52.2W]}. Go up the stairs and follow the route above the roofs to the door^{[30.2S, 52.1W]} leading you inside to Wink the Cat on the table in the first room on your right as you enter.

• Head out the door again and follow the Scholar's Stair until you reach the bridge and then turn right following the contour of the building down to the road where you head towards the South Gate in Bree. Follow the road until you are South of the Midgewater Marsh and then turn north heading towards the S in the word Marsh on the big map which is approximately where you can find Sniken^{[32.5S, 43.5W]}. Watch out for the goblins and other creatures in the area.

• Go back to the path and head to the West Gates in Bree then follow the road North at Greenway Crossing^{[29.6S, 52.3W]}. Turn right at the Northern Bree-fields^{[23.4S, 54.2W]} until you get to the first left turn in the road^{[23.0S, 52.3W]} where you start heading North to find the Horse^{[22.3S, 52.1W]}.

• Head North East from the horse until you get to the cliff dropping into the water, be careful not to fall in yourself! Follow the cliffs edge East until you reach the lake where you run around till you reach the southern part of the lake and jump in swimming north to find the Squirrel^{[21.6S, 42.6W]}.
