In order to continue on to Chapter 8, your server needs to have completed the quest for Ring-lores a total of 70,000 times. Once this is done, speak with Elrond. He will direct you to Celondim, where he believes an Elf who knows much about the forging of the Rings of Power resides. You can find Eglamír standing out on the docks of Celondim. |

Bestowal dialogueI have little doubt of the Enemy's intentions, though I do not know whether they will bear out. That is our one hope. There is much Ring-lore of Eregion remaining here in Rivendell, for I myself wrote it, but there is much also that was lost in the destruction of our ancient city. In order to learn how much of Angmar's plans may yet be possible, we need to find the lost lore. Whether it still exists or not, I cannot say, but I have sent forth Heralds throughout Eriador to collect any they may find. I want you to lend your aid to them as you may. It may be that the Enemy has found some of the lost lore themselves. BackgroundLaerdan's journal brings more concerns upon Elrond than just the fate of Laerdan.... Objective 1Heralds of Rivendell may be found throughout Eriador. Elrond has asked you to aid the Heralds of Rivendell by collecting fragments of the lost Ring-lore of Eregion. Objective 2Elrond is in his library at the Last Homely House in Rivendell. You have found much of the lost Ring-lore of Eregion and should return it at once to Elrond. Objective 3Elrond spoke of an Elf named "Eglamír" who may dwell in Celondim in Ered Luin, far to the west of Rivendell and the Trollshaws. Elrond has told you that Celebrimbor wisely did not record many of the details of Ring-craft in the lore of Eregion. However Elrond did find many references to an Elf named "Eglamír" who may know more. |
