'Isferon at the refuge of Duillond in Ered Luin has come into possession of a puzzle that he hopes a true lore-master will be able to solve. He has kept the details to himself, but if you were to seek him out, I am sure the puzzle would be of interest to you.
'Isferon himself is a most learned lore-master -- I wonder what puzzle could evade his understanding?'
Background
A Lore-Master seeks to dissolve all the mysteries of the world, but whether he chooses to share them with others is often a defining characteristic.
Objective 1

You have been told that Isferon has a puzzle that he cannot solve. As Isferon is a most learned lore-master, this puzzle must be difficult indeed.
Objective 2
Isferon gave you the first of Berenin's riddles.
Isferon hopes that you can discover the solution of Berenin's riddle and collect the first of three keys from the location that is described.
Objective 3
Isferon is at the refuge of Duillond in Ered Luin.
Now that you have solved the first of three riddles given him by his friend Berenin, you should return the key you found to Isferon at Duillond.

You discovered Berenin's legacy -- a desire that he not be forgotten by his friend and to engage in one last game of riddles -- and helped Isferon not lose sight of his friend's memory. Isferon is waiting to speak with you again.

Walkthrough
Solve Berenin's first riddle.
- "She runs through the blue, the shadow of passage falls over her. On one hand, a silent guardian."
- This location is by the bridge between Ered Luin and The Shire at 24.4S, 91.8W. If you cross the bridge from Duillond heading towards The Shire and go south once you cross the bridge you will see a statue holding a shield at the river side. Next to the statue there is a small chest that contains the first key. Obtain it and return to Isferon.
Solve Berenin's second riddle.
- "Fierce goblins are remembered, but better still: a mighty swing! No Man, he."
- This location is north of the mile stone in Brockenborings in The Shire at 27.2S, 67.7W. It is a big statue carved from wood. Next to the statue there is a small chest that contains the second key. Obtain it and return to Isferon.
Solve Berenin's third riddle.
- "The man left his horse so he could walk half a day towards the sun and half a day away from the sun. When he arrived, they couldn't close the window."
- This location is inside The Forsaken Inn in the Lone-lands at 34.0S, 40.7W in the common area near the base of the raised section of the inn. There is a small chest that contains the third key. Obtain it and return to Isferon.
