The Book 12: The Ashen Wastes free content update (Feb. 13, 2008) introduced the Outfitting system, allowing players to customise two cosmetic outfits in addition to the appearance of regular equipment.
Description
Outfitters are special vendor NPCs selling a variety of cosmetic outfits and accessories. The outfitters across Eriador sell many of the same items, though each outfitter sells a few items that are unique to that outfitter.
