The Low Lands is an area in northern Ered Luin. The northern and western borders are partially defined by the Blue Mountains. Haudh Lin lies to the east and the Vale of Thrain lies to the west. The northern entrance to Rath Teraig is south of the Low Lands. The creatures in the Low Lands include bats, bears and wolves. The northern part of this area is fortified by Dourhand Dwarves, while the western part near the Vale of Thrain is occupied by goblins. The dwarft settlement of Gondamon is located in the Low Lands.
