We at LOTRO-wiki would like to welcome all new contributors! It is here that we would like to create a place for those dedicated to helping others in the game and who want to participate in making this place a haven for anyone who is lost or seeking knowledge.
Our mission is to create a site that is both informative and pleasing to the eye. We take pride in our work and hope that all who join us in this endeavor feel the same. To find out how you can help us, check out our Help page.
Community Meeting
We sometimes have community meetings on our chat channel on the IRC network. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The meetings take place on our IRC Channel at irc://chat.freenode.net/lotro-wiki.
There is currently no chat meeting scheduled. The last meeting was on February 13th, 2010.

- 1. Uploading files unsuccessful. I receive this error:
Internal error From Lotro-Wiki.com Jump to: navigation, search Could not rename file "public/4/4c/Brave_Heart-icon.png" to "public/archive/4/4c/20090925180806!Brave_Heart-icon.png".
This error also occurs with new images not already in our database. It just rewords the error to say, could not upload... Rogue 18:11, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

- I got something to upload so that's a good sign. I like the fact that it shows the icons now for images, old vs new.. except is there any way we can make those smaller???? Rogue 22:11, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

- 2. Looking at pages with images linked, I noticed that those image names with an apostrophe show an error on the page:
Error creating thumbnail: convert: unable to open image `/data/Web/lotro_svn/mediawiki_REL1_15/images/thumb/1/1c/Scholar's_Small_Bentwood_Bookshelf.jpg/400px- Scholar's_Small_Bentwood_Bookshelf.jpg': Permission denied.
Image names without an apostrophe seem to be showing up fine. Rogue 22:36, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
UPDATE: OR Image isn't being recognized when I attempt to add an image to a page. It is defaulting to File: instead and giving me the same error as above with a minor difference. The image is there, we have it stored it's just not grabbing it.
