  • Amenta - A guild with a long history from EQ1 and now present in eq2, Vanguard and last Lotro. The player base range from mid 20'ies to some serious oldies. Amenta in Lotro is a casual guild who cant wait to raid. It is the players who shape Amenta, not the leadership! The Lotro website and general Amenta guild portal is currently underway.
  • Archangels - The Archangels have been together as a group for allmost 5 years playing a multitude of games, right now we have settled with LOTRO on snowbourn. Were an organised, active, friendly and fun kinship running ingame events, producing videos of our adventures, organising everything via our private 100 person ventrilo server. There is no level requirement as of yet all we ask is that you get involved !!
  • Ascension - A community of friends from Everquest 2 decided to band together to save Middle Earth from the hordes of evil. Looking for new friends to join the good fight.

  • Followers of Elendil - FoE is an all Danish kinship located on [EN] Snowbourn. Its among the oldest kinships on Snowbourn and has since day one accepted any danish speaking character from level 10 and up.
  • Forth Eorlingas - Forth Eorlingas is a Greek Kinship playing on [EN] Snowbourn server. We accept all greek - speaking players of any level - race - class. Our philosphy is helping each other by sharing items resources and manpower where needed. The leaders are Partoferto and Tearwulf. People with web building knowledge and more players in the kinship is a priority.

  • Liberty Legion - A kinship of experienced and mature gamers formed originally from a core of players who transferred to Middle Earth from City of Heroes. The Legion is a friendly and helpful kinship, very relaxed in its attitude but one that sets high standards of courtesy for its members.
  • Majestic - A Kinship that Hails From the Kingdom of Norway, We are a fast growing Kinship on Snowbourn.
  • Male Pwn Stars - Voted "Most likely Kinship to beat Sauron about the face with the carcass of a Hobbit". The only Kinship that's been thrown out of the Prancing Pony for being drunk and disorderly. The only Kinship to enable the crafts of Fluffer and Money Shot Artiste. We are either a mixed group of semi pro's or a pro group with semi's. Step into the hurt locker, Middle Earth, your about to take a pounding from the Male Pwn Stars. All Welcome. Except dwarves with no banter.
  • Order of the Stick - Established over a year ago initially from players on Battlefield2, then Battlefield2142 and Guildwars. Then we were called FOQ - Fortuna Occide Quisque (Luck Kills All). Change of title for LOTRO and recruiting new players Order of the Stick is solely our LOTRO name. We are generally maturer players (perhaps in age!) who like a laugh.
  • Pennyground - Swedish Kinship with some history in MMORPGs. Nowadays most of us are casual gamers playing a lot of different games.
  • Raven Council - Originally founded on WoW - We are an active, friendly and helpfull kinship, always looking for poeple to join :D We are gradually climbing our way up the ladder so we can start raiding the ettenmores and high level instances.   • Ravenous Knights - Ravenous Knights is a guild that has gone through many MMORPGs and this time exploring the world in Lord of The Rings Online, member count is kept small and friendly. Although there is no open recruitment, Ravenous Knights does not say "no" to all applicants, especially in LOTRO.
  • Room For Improvement - Why "Room For Improvement"? Because no matter how experienced you are, there's always something more you can learn. And no matter how new you are to LotrO, there's always something you can teach someone else. RFI is founded on the idea that members can help each other to develop both in- and out- of game. We are a large friendly kinship open to all races and all professions.
  • Serke Vanda - Serke Vanda means Blood Oath in Tolkiens Elvish language. It sums up the spirit and focus of the Kinship, to be a community who always looks out for each others interests. MMO's are the most indepth, rewarding games available to players worldwide. They have a level of depth that can not be matched with pick up and play games, or other online forums. Most importantly it allows the gathering and formation of Communities, which in time become the centre focus of the game. Without a good community these games lose a massive amount of their charm and reward. At Serke Vanda the founders know what it is to be in a community, and how important to is to build it strong and lasting. Each founder has a life, a job and responsibilities so we understand you cant be there 24/7. We are here to create a social community who still aim to break the boundries of the game, help each other and the kinship and have a good laugh on the way. Ultimately the Kinship is looking to raid the end game but are also currenly welcoming non raiding players to help strengthen our community.   • Shadowsong - Shadowsong is a guild made up of players from the Shadowsong EU realm of WoW. Our members include everything from casual players, to high end PVPers, to hardcore raiders.
  • Sindarin Knights - Sindarin Knights is a level 10, small mature European Kinship, made up of a close knit group. Our members are mostly casual players, who have an addiction to fluff & are mostly alterholics too. We have a very relaxed attitude & enjoy Elder Game at a sedentary pace. We have a couple of Alliances which allows us to raid most weekends.
  • The Blades of Arnor - The Blades of Arnor are the descendents of the honour guard of Eärendur, the last king of ancient Arnor. The kinship has members from all over Europe and it adheres to the principle that gaming should be fun and relaxed without the commitments and expectations that many gaming groups demand. The Blades of Arnor is one of the oldest Lord of the Rings Online kinships in Europe.
  • The Casual Travellers We all play just because it's fun, and only for as long as it's fun. We all have lives, this is just a game. UK-based, but with members from many European countries.
  • The Core Within - This Kinship was founded on the 16th of April 2007, in the early access before release, on the Snowbourn server. Our goal was to make a friendly and mature kinship, available for every player in the Lord of the Rings Online community. Lord of the Rings Online focuses very much on teamplay in all its aspects, from combat to crafting. This is why it such a fantastic opportunity to have an exciting, friendly community with which to share your Middle Earth experiences with.
  • The Forsaken - This is a kinship which comprises members from all over the world, Australia to South Africa to Europe, and is Englsh based (apart from the Australians). It is a mature kin (apart rom the Australians) and is there for us to enjoy Lotro, and enjoy the company of friends. We are both a levelling and raiding guild (we've got the Balrog on farm), and spend a lot of time on TeamSpeak. Sense of humour is required.
  • The Grey Wood Company - A group of fast growing friends, A very friendly kinship and always willing to help new members. We are both an RP and non-RP based Kinship playing within the worlds of Lord of the Rings Online. We are in roleplay an organization of Mercencaries working for the good of the poor of Middle Earth and its defenceless, but also making a pretty penny here and there.
  • The Knights of the Valar - Kinship with mature players of different ages. We have members with experience in several MMORPGs as well as players with no or little experience, but all willing to help each other out.
  • The Last Alliance - Also known as 'The Grumpy Old Gits' - For semi-casual older players.
  • The Lore Council - A fun and friendly kinship built on mutual respect and mature behaviour. We aim to collaborate and experience all that this Middle Earth has to offer. We are starting out fresh in LotRO, with the core members and are looking to build a friendly community of players who can rely on each other for mutual assistance, and to provide regular companions and stable fellowships.   • The Red Dragons of Wrath - Red Dragons of Wrath is a long established guild, made up of real life friends and people who have known each other for a number of years. The RDOW guild has existed over five online games now and will no doubt continue to do so well into the future. Along the way and through many different games we have gained new members and said goodbye to good people, who although gone to greener pastures are in no way forgotten. RDOW has always been a very casual guild with no real pressure being put on members to perform or do well, just expected to respect others in the way they would themselves expect to be treated.
  • The Seven Stars - We are a small a level 6 LOTRO kinship (Snowbourn Server) mature members (age 25 - 36) concentrating on end game content, raiding, fun and a friendly atmosphere.


  • Thorins Shield - Thorins Shield was created on the first day of pre-release and is one of the oldest kin on Snowbourne. The kin is named after the reknowned dwarf Thorin Oakenshield, but is comprised of kin from all peoples and lands. We strive to hold aloft the shield of Thorin over the free people's in protection, defence and vengeance of their rights to freedom. A friendly, social kin with mature players of all ages we have a strong focus on crafting reliable equipment for our family and on bearing the light into some of the darkest areas of Middle Earth, such as Carn Dum, Urugarth and The Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu.
  • Thunder's Roar - Close knit group of friends, borne from the ashes of Star War Galaxies. Traveling from MMO to MMO, the primary goal of Thunder's Roar is to have fun. Far from a guild of power levellers, Thunder's Roar depends up on close interaction between its members. A true Fellowship!
  • Twierdza - First Polish Kinship on Snowbourn, 10 level, over 100 members, friendly, relaxed and mature players. Casual and hardcore players of levels over 15 are welcome!
  • United Kingdoms - A UK based kinship for Lord of the Rings Online, giving our members friendship and help through Middle-Earth.
  • Variags of Khand - A kinship for Dutch-speaking players. We tend to play for fun, and generally do have a lot of fun on TeamSpeak and in game.
  • Vengeance - Founded on 13th April, possibly the 1st kinship created on Snowbourne - we are a Mature, Semi-Casual kinship with main interests of PvPM & Raiding. Vengeance was originally a DAoC guild on the EU-Excalibur Server, then moved onto WoW EU-Stormscale before ending up here. We have a 50 Man Ventrilo server, Forums & lots of fun! We are currently looking to bolster our ranks ready for the Helegrod raid instance, think your the right person for Vengeance? Then let us know!
  • Wipus Frequentus - A kinship originating on the WoW Magtheridon realm, focusing mostly on casual play.
  • Wisdom of the Valar - A friendly kinship founded by two avid Tolkien fans. Originally created so we could pool our crafting resources. Now we're looking forward to Rift and Ettenmoor raids. All are welcome and we have a kinship house at Thorin's Gate.

  • Spawn of Draugluin - A Monster Play tribe for Wargs only. There is a rank required to join us.
  • The Grumpy Old Gits - initially at least made up of The Last Alliance kinship members.
  • Room For Degenerates - A Monster player extension of the Room For Improvement kinship over on the freep side. No ranks required. Just a good sense of humour and an easy going attitude. Everyone is welcome.
