IRC Meeting 12.04.08

The following is a summary of the LOTRO-Wiki IRC Meeting on 12/04/08 (DD/MM/YY).
Among the attendants are (in no particular order): xanderian (Xander), DiT (DancesInTrees), Eleazaros, Deyvid, Rogue (Rogue4ever), and myself. A log of the channel was maintained for future reference to any who require it. If you would like to review it, please contact either Fedaykinx (who maintained the "official" log) or one of the other administrators. The entire log may be posted here eventually.
On the list were the following topics, with conclusions, which were generally discussed in order from top to bottom:
Logo Contest
- May 10 submission deadline
- May 11-18 initial voting on logos
- Top 3 voted on May 19-26 to determine winner
- Announcement on official LOTRO forums calling for participation in contest and vote
PC & Kinship page guidelines/policies
- Forum topic to be created to discuss this.
- Server namespace for kinship pages - Server: -> Servername -> Kinshipname
Manual of Style implementation
- Skunark will be bringing it over from Wikipedia/WoWWiki
Class page changes (improving the look and content)
- To be taken to a forum discussion
Mediawiki Extensions
- Skunark will be implementing two extensions, one of which is an icon extension and another for a timeline, which can be found here.
The meeting took place within a three-hour time-frame, after which a more open discussion took place.
