Lore
Daddy Twofoot lived at Number 2 Bagshot Row on the Hill, and was the next-door neighbour of Hamfast "Gaffer" Gamgee, father of Samwise Gamgee. In early September, III 3001, Gaffer Gamgee was in the Ivy Bush inn at Hobbiton talking with Daddy Twofoot, Sandyman the Miller, and Old Noakes about the character of Bilbo Baggins, Bilbo's nephew and adopted heir Frodo Baggins, and the unfortunate fate of Frodo's parents.
